Too red for mebut overall happy with another shade August 4, 2024 Reviewer: M. from United States   My hair is ash blonde with a bit of gray around my face and some former blonde from the hair salon in the length. Unfortunately this blonde shade turns my hair into a reddish / strawberry blonde which does not suit my skin tone. I have tried the ash brown and it does look way more natural on me and not red at all. I like the consistency and how easy it is to use this. The smell is very earthy which I like. I also did not need gloves because it does not seem to color my skin or nails easily. Overall I recommend this brand and I think it is a bit trial and error with the shades. I have also tried mixing blonde with ash brown and it was still too reddish for me. I am sticking with the ash brown only and I am happy with this. Way better than any chemical hair colors! Great Product Turns Gray Into Blonde October 19, 2021 Reviewer: Karen K from Texas   I have used Lustrous Henna for years but usually have bought the dark brown.  I didn't color my hair at all for two years and ended up with about 30% gray.  I wanted to tone down the white/gray a bit and thought I would try Lustrous Henna in Blonde.  Well, it was an unexpected pleasant surprise.  I turned the gray into light brown or dark blonde highlights.  It also made my hair smoother.  I may try mixing this with some ash brown in the future or I may just stick with the blonde, but I am very happy with the results. Full Gray Coverage August 13, 2019 Reviewer: Catherine Cooke from Co Tipperary, Republic of Ireland   This is such a great all natural henna. .  Dark shades and reds don't suit my skin so I feel really lucky to have found this company that sells blonde henna! The henna makes my hair a beautiful golden brown/dark gold blonde. Each strand of my hair picks up the colour differently so the colour is very natural looking, with beautiful lighter strands here and there.  It completely covers my gray, and the grow out is very subtle (rather than a severe line like with chemical dyes.). I've been using this henna/company for years now and will continue to do for as long as I'll henna my hair (surely into my 90's!  :-)   Highly recommended. Was this review helpful to you?
